Hot @ 30: Part I

I started putting on weight when I was in university. Uncontrolled diet, lots of snacking, not to mention midnight suppers. All of these killed my body. Lazing around in front of the computer didn't help either. I was lean when I finished secondary school, because my Mom would control what I ate.

The same continued on from university to working. My colleagues would bring me to try all those famous and nice food places. My weight just kept going up and up, there was no stopping it. Not until one day, when I was depressing over why I was still single, I made a vow to myself, that I would transform myself into something marketable, go out, and find myself some love.

And so I started working out, I did yoga, I used the treadmill, and I controlled my diet. I achieved a favourable result in 1 month. No 6 packs of course. That wasn't in the plan that time. Next of course was wardrobe change, baggy shirts and pants just wouldn't do, no no. Tighter shirts, skinnier pants, wouldn't hurt to let loose some fabulous and gay vibes.

So, along came le boyfriend. He probably didn't really care about how my body looked like, well, as long as I wasn't too obese. All those sweat and blood to make me feel good about my body was thrown into the drain. I supposed that is a good thing because then he wouldn't complain about how I've gained weight, or I shouldn't be eating this or that. That would probably get on my nerves real quick.

Since I've found myself some love, it was sort of mission accomplished, and case closed. One thing for sure, le boyfriend likes to eat, meat mostly, and pork particularly, and that was how my famous line of "share pork with someone you love" came about. Uncontrolled diet, no work out, lazing about everyday, it went back to the same old routine. And so my body started bloating again, slowly but surely.

I won't so that as long as you're happy, it's ok to be fat. I'll say that as long as you're HEALTHY, then it's ok no matter what shape you are. If you're unhealthy, lots of problem.

You've done it before, which is a good start. You can certainly do it again. Good luck!

Having love handles is a good sign. Cuz that means somebody loves you. Or at least that's what I try to convince myself to believe. Lols.

Don't want fatty love, want HOT love, Twilight. Hahaha!

In some ways, yeah, Nicky.

Join in the Hotness project, SK!

Yupe, be healthy is first, Danny.

Love to eat! Live to eat! Teach me jog! Carpe Diem.

Must always be marketable in case something happens, right, Sky? Well, let's hope nothing happens.

I will, and I must, Jeremy. Hahaha!

Get on board, D!

Shall resist, the Force is within me, Will.

Well, still one big fat belly right now, but hopefully I will have, in the future, Darren.

Love handles are okay, as long as they're not too much, Evann.
