I Dreamed A Dream

I have started to dream a lot again. The last time that I could remember was when I was still in Beijing. Of course after that I did have dreams but it wasn't as frequent. Nowadays, I'm having dreams almost every night, maybe 6 out of 7 nights in a week, sometimes a few dreams in one night. And that one day that I didn't dream? I was too drunk.

The dreams were not anything in particular, they were not about me being chased my monsters (horror type), not about me winning the lottery and living a glamorous life (happy, out of this world type), nor about sex, which I thought I would be having constantly, but no, not even with the long and never ending drought.

Most of them were just mundane. They were so simple that they became annoying. It could be something like this:

Me: What are you doing this weekend?
Man: Nothing, maybe just relax at home.
Me: Not going out?
Man: Maybe not, a bit tired this week. You?
Me: Well, no plans yet.
Man: Okay. Gonna play with the Wii?
Me: Not sure, hardly touch that thing now.
Man: Why?
Me: Just too lazy. That thing is more like an expensive weighing machine now.
Man: How's that so?
Me: I use it to track my weight using Wii Fit.
Man: Dude, it's a game console.
Me: I know, well, too lazy.
Man: Maybe you should let me have it.
Me: Come and play if you want.
Man: Yeah, maybe that.

See, it's not going anywhere. There is no purpose in all these dreams, well, not that I need a purpose in my dreams. But the mundaneness is starting to feel annoying. And having dreams all night long makes me feel like I didn't sleep at all, and I do feel that way the next day, tired and sleepy still, which is the most annoying part of all. Whoever said that you need a deeply rested state of mind before you can have dreams, I don't think it's true. Either that, or dreams make your mind become un-rested again.

Whatever it is, I want my quality sleep again! I can't get drunk every single day, can I?

Too much of dreams cause tiredness. If u r in deep state of sleep, you will not dream - my belief. Can drinking milk before sleep help?

Yes. The calcium works. Otherwise take Stillnox. But then ur beau will kill me for even trying to suggest!

I smoke my house with holy incense herbs when nightmares happen. That means got unwanted visitors lurking around the room!

You need someone to hug and lull you to sleep! :)

Hmmm... Maybe will try low fat milk, Sky.

I looked it up, Stilnox probably not so preferable. Anyway, will try to stay away from pills at the moment, CD.

Maybe we will cross paths in our dreams, SK. Hahahaha!

Twilight my dear, I do love to be hugged and lulled to sleep, but tough luck!

If you remember detalis of your dream, that probably means you didn't have deep sleep.

There's meaning to that dream lah: play Wii! With others! :P

The Wii is always there waiting to be played, Jeremy!

Definitely better than nightmares, Danny, but maybe no dream would be best right now.

Unfortunately I will have to cope with it myself at the moment, Koala.
